EN 14932 – European Standard
All our bale wrap products are made according to the European Standard EN 14932, ensuring top quality and reliable performance.
This standard sets out the rules for how stretch films should perform when used to wrap bales for silage. It covers important factors like strength, flexibility, oxygen protection, and light reflection. It also includes tests to make sure the film keeps air out and limits oxygen passing through, which helps maintain the quality of your silage.
EN 14932 applies to polyolefin films in white, black, or colored versions, and covers widths from 250 mm up to 1,000 mm. To meet this standard, the film must be applied in at least six layers, stretched to about 60–70% for round bales and 55–65% for square bales.
By following EN 14932, we make sure every roll of our wrap helps protect your silage and preserve its nutritional value.
